SPEAKERS
Stephen Bohr
Pastor Bohr was born in Wisconsin but grew up in Venezuela and Colombia where his parents served as missionaries for over thirty years, and where he met his wife, Aurora. His heavy speaking schedule has taken him around the world. With a BA, MA, and MDiv, from Andrews University, his life passion is the study of prophecy and teaching others to seek the hidden gems throughout scripture.
In thirty three years of denominational work Pastor Bohr has served as a local church pastor, university theology teacher, conference youth/Pathfinder director and ministerial secretary and evangelist. Twice a year he teaches the class “Foundations of Seventh-day Adventist Theology” at the Amazing Facts College of Evangelism. He is also fluent in Spanish, and has a variety of topics available in both languages and is best known for his ground breaking series “Cracking the Genesis Code”, which is a result of 14 years of in-depth study.
In addition, Pastor Bohr has authored “Worship At Satan’s Throne, Hidden Sabbath Truths, Prophecy’s Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Esperanza Para el Planeta Tierra,” and his latest hot off the press book “Taken or Left?”, all of which are available this weekend in the exhibit area. The Bohr’s have two children. Stephen is the technical director for Secrets Unsealed, and Jennifer lives with her husband in the Napa, CA area
Agatha Thrash
Dr. Agatha Thrash graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and did specialty training in Pathology at Emory University . She was Certified by the American Board of Pathology, and practiced hospital and private pathology for approximately 15 years, and Forensic Pathology part time for about 35 years. She ran a home birth service in Russell County, Alabama for ten years, and served as the Public Health officer head of the Lay Midwife Association of Russell County. Along with her husband, Calvin Thrash, M.D., she founded Uchee Pines Institute in 1970, and has been practicing her knowledge of natural medicine for the last 40 years. During this time she has written a number of books about natural remedies, nutrition and and prevention of disease by lifestyle changes, along with hundreds of counseling papers on a variety of topics for patients. She lectures widely in natural remedies and nutrition.
Lee Wellard
A former atheist born in England, Lee met Christ when he was 21 by attending an archeology seminar and became a Bible believing Christian. Lee has traveled extensively around the world teaching health and the Bible, and graduated from the Institute of Medical Ministry at Wildwood Lifestyle Center and Hospital. Lee is currently working as a physiology and nutrition educator in the 6 month HE and the 1 year advance course, and is part of Wildwood’s health evangelism team that gives lectures across America on various health related topics.

Gordon Martinborough
Gordon Martinborough, who holds a Master’s degree from Loma Linda University, CA, has served for more than 40 years as a district pastor, departmental director, Conference president, Union president, Division vice president and Division evangelist. He is the author of five books in the fields of Evangelism and Family Life which are being used internationally, including ”I Love You and Family Life Evangelism Manual.”
While serving as Vice President of the Inter-American Division, he created ASI chapters in the Unions and Conferences of that territory and became the first ASI Executive Secretary of the world’s largest Division. He is happily married for over 45 years to his wife Waveney, who holds a Master’s degree from Andrews University, and has served for ten years as the first Women’s Ministries Director, as well as the Family Ministries Director, of the IAD. They have three grown children: Dr. Esther Biamonte, a research scientist in San Diego; Samuel, a music educator in Boston; and John a musician in New York.
At present, Gordon and Waveney serve as Directors of Happy Family Bible Seminars International, which is based in Orlando, FL. They conduct workshops for leaders, seminars for churches, and evangelistic campaigns. They have done presentations in Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, West Africa and the United States. Their materials are also in use in Europe, the Philippines, and China. The motto of their ministry is: Empowering Every Family for Time and Eternity.
Charles Stark
Chuck was raised in Laurelwood Oregon till the age of 15 when he moved to Puerto Rico where he learned Spanish and graduated from high school. It was there he had his conversion experience in October 24 of 1999’ Charles later completed his BBA from Southern Adventist University where he served the South East Youth Conference as Vice President for Communications. Chuck feels called to a life of sacrifice and service for self-supporting ministries and now serves as the Advancement Director at Wildwood Lifestyle Center & Hospital. One year ago he also accepted the call from ASI Southern Union and as Vice President for Communications.
